Old Norse Lodge residents take up armchair fitness
At Old Norse Lodge, promoting physical well-being and fostering a lively atmosphere for our residents is a priority. Recently, Old Norse Lodge had the privilege of hosting a special armchair-based exercise session led by fitness instructor, Bailey. Many of our residents and even the newest resident, Ann, wanted to get her Muhammad Ali on.
The residents gathered in the living room and took up their armchairs, eager to engage in the fitness session. As the session commenced, it quickly became evident that the residents were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Bailey's energy and guidance kept our residents motivated throughout the entire session. The sight of residents donning boxing gloves added an element of playfulness to the experience.
The participants, including Mike, Phyllis, Winnie, Wendy, Keith, and Ann, embraced the armchair exercises with enthusiasm, demonstrating their dedication to maintaining their physical well-being. They not only completed the exercises with intent but also interacted with their fellow residents, creating a sense of camaraderie, shared accomplishment and definitely earning their desserts after lunch!
What truly warmed the hearts of everyone involved was the residents' eagerness to have Bailey return for more sessions. Their inquiries about his next visit and the requests for future sessions really displayed the positive impact of the armchair fitness program.
The team at Old Norse Lodge, understand the significance of providing diverse and engaging activities that cater to the unique interests and needs of it’s residents. Bailey's armchair-based exercise session not only contributed to the resident’s physical fitness but also uplifted their spirits, leaving them eager for more. It's moments like these that reinforce Old Norse Lodge’s commitment to creating a thriving and enjoyable community for our residents.
