Recently, the dedicated unit manager, Freya, went above and beyond by volunteering her day off to accompany Jeanette, one of Heath Lodge’s beloved residents, on a delightful outing to the coastal town of Sheringham.

With anticipation in the air, Jeanette and Freya set off for a leisurely walk along the picturesque seaside, soaking in the beauty of the North Norfolk coastline. Their journey culminated with a visit to the popular café, The Whelk Coppers, where they savoured delicious treats and enjoyed each other's company.

Jeanette was overjoyed to revisit familiar surroundings, reminiscing about her time working in the area. She expressed her delight at being able to reconnect with the natural beauty of North Norfolk, revelling in the lush greenery and the invigorating sea breeze.

Reflecting on her day, Jeanette shared, "I loved seeing this part of North Norfolk again. It's where I used to work. It's so beautiful and green! I enjoyed all the fresh air and the change of scenery. It was a real treat to be able to come and see the sea."
