Heatherton House Joins Global Effort on Stop Food Waste Day
On April 24th, Heatherton House proudly participated in Stop Food Waste Day, a global initiative aimed at combatting food waste and promoting sustainability. Since starting in 2017, Stop Food Waste Day has since gained international recognition, inspiring communities worldwide to take action against food waste.
As part of their commitment to this important cause, Heatherton House embraced the opportunity to support the local community by partnering with Audrey's charity. They decided to make a meaningful contribution by preparing homemade soup using ingredients from the kitchen, ensuring that no food goes to waste. The soup, lovingly crafted by the talented chefs, will be distributed to the homeless and less fortunate, providing nourishment and comfort to those in need.
Heatherton House extend their heartfelt thanks to their dedicated chefs for their invaluable assistance in preparing the soup and contributing to this worthy cause. Their culinary expertise and generosity exemplify the spirit of compassion and community that defines Heatherton House.
As they join forces with individuals and organisations around the globe to raise awareness about food waste, Heatherton House remain committed to making a positive impact on the community and fostering a culture of sustainability. Together, we can inspire change and create a brighter future for generations to come.
