Residents of Rossendale House recently enjoyed a delightful evening of music and memories as they gathered in the cinema room for a Beatles sing-along. With the help of YouTube, everyone sang along to classic Beatles hits and learned fascinating facts about the band's professional and personal lives.
The evening was filled with joy as residents, already well-versed in Beatles lore, enjoyed recalling their favourite songs and trivia. The fun was infectious, and soon some residents were up and dancing, joined by the enthusiastic care and cleaning staff.
One resident, Brian Beedham, perfectly captured the spirit of the evening, saying, “It’s been a long time since I’ve sang with other people or even had so much fun. It’s been a very enjoyable evening. Thank you so much!”
This memorable Beatles night not only brought music and dance into Rossendale House but also strengthened the bonds within the community, making it an evening cherished by all.
Danforth Care Homes are currently welcoming residents, If you or a loved one wish to find out more information or come along, explore the facilities, and meet the staff, you can do so by contacting the enquiry team.
