At Old Norse Lodge, residents have been immersed in a week filled with diverse and engaging activities, sparking joy and laughter as they create memorable experiences together.
A highlight of the week was the visit from a bearded dragon, courtesy of one of our senior carers. This unique and fascinating creature captured the residents' imagination, providing them with a delightful opportunity to interact with something out of the ordinary. The residents were enchanted by the bearded dragon's presence, relishing the chance to observe and engage with this captivating reptile.
Adding to the week's festivities was a lively game of boozy bingo, which proved to be a source of great amusement for all involved. Laughter filled the air as residents eagerly participated in the game, revelling in the friendly competition and camaraderie that ensued. With each call of the numbers, excitement mounted, creating an atmosphere of cheerful anticipation and delight.
Meanwhile, the avian visitors in the lodge's garden have become increasingly familiar and friendly, eagerly accepting the offerings of food from the residents' hands. These feathered companions have formed a special bond with the residents, providing moments of connection and joy as they interact with their newfound friends.
As the week unfolded, residents embraced each activity with enthusiasm, cherishing the opportunity to engage in new experiences and share in moments of laughter and camaraderie. Whether marvelling at the wonders of nature or enjoying the thrill of friendly competition, the residents of Old Norse Lodge continue to find joy and fulfilment in the vibrant tapestry of life within their community.
