The residents of Sid Bailey Care Home recently embarked on an exciting outing to the Brampton Parish Community Centre, where they immersed themselves in the thrill of quizzes and camaraderie. The day was filled with triumphs, shared laughter, and a sense of achievement, as the residents showcased their knowledge and quick thinking.
Upon arrival at the community centre, the residents were presented with two enticing quiz challenges: a James Bond quiz and a general knowledge quiz. Their excitement was palpable as they eagerly embraced the opportunity to test their wits.
To the delight of all, the residents rose to the occasion and proved their extensive knowledge in both quizzes, emerging as victors, and their impressive performance was rewarded with exciting prizes.
Pat Harrop summed up the experience saying, "We had a lovely time," echoing the sentiments of the group. Patricia Hunsley concurred, describing the day as "enjoyable," while Alan Hull beamed with pride, stating, "Had a good time, we won both quizzes." Beryl Kershaw, Joyce McCreadie, Yvonne Gadsby, and Sylvia Dalton shared in the enjoyment, expressing their gratitude for the wonderful day.
Before the residents could leave they were already planning their next trip and making requests, with Bingo topping their list of desired activities. The staff at the Brampton Parish Community Centre graciously agreed to accommodate their request, promising to make Bingo available during the next visit, ensuring that the residents' wishes are fulfilled.
