Heath Lodge recently witnessed a touching moment as a special delivery arrived, bringing tears of joy and remembrance to its residents and staff. Doris, a beloved member of our community, was presented with a beautiful bench by her two daughters in loving memory of her husband, Maurice.
Maurice, who resided with Doris at Heath Lodge, holds a cherished place in the hearts of all who knew him. The bench, placed outside Doris' patio doors, stands as a testament to the love and memories shared between Doris and Maurice.
Bianca, Doris and Maurice's daughter, expressed her gratitude for the exceptional care and support provided by the staff at Heath Lodge. She fondly recalled the last months Maurice spent with Doris, praising the warmth and welcome extended to him by the Heath Lodge family.
As the bench took its place in the tranquil gardens of Heath Lodge, emotions ran high, with not a dry eye in sight. The staff eagerly anticipate joining Doris on her bench for a cup of tea and a piece of cake, reminiscing about the beautiful memories shared with Maurice.
The bench serves as more than just a piece of furniture; it is a symbol of love, remembrance, and the enduring bonds of family. Heath Lodge stands as a testament to the profound impact of love and care, where every resident is cherished and every memory is honoured.
