Montagu Hall Residents Embrace Community Connections
This week at Montagu Hall has been all about fostering connections with the local community, with a special focus on getting the residents out and about.
One of the residents took an active role in community engagement by teaming up with a staff member to distribute leaflets throughout the neighbourhood. These leaflets serve as invitations to the upcoming Open Day and Fitness Class happening on April 25th.
In addition to community outreach, residents enjoyed various outings to explore the local area. There were leisurely walks to the park, delightful visits to the café for coffee and cake, and even a trip to one of the nearby pubs. Residents were pleasantly surprised by the warm reception they received at the pub, where patrons kindly offered to treat them to a drink. Gratefully accepting the gesture, our residents enjoyed a refreshing shandy and wine spritzer.
The smiles on everyone's faces speak volumes about the enjoyment and appreciation of these outings, as residents relished the opportunity to soak up the fresh air and camaraderie of community connections. At Montagu Hall, these moments of shared joy and connection are cherished, and we look forward to many more outings that enrich the lives of our residents.
