Joyful Day Out: Heath Lodge Residents Explore Holt
Heath Lodge Care Home in Holt recently added another joyful event to their calendar, bringing smiles and satisfaction to its residents. This week, during a one-to-one session, staff member Maddie took two residents on a delightful afternoon outing. The group caught the conveniently located local bus, which stops just outside Heath Lodge, and made their way into the charming town of Holt.
The day's adventures began at the well-known Bakers and Larners department store. Here, one of the residents, an avid jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, found herself at the perfect place and time to choose a new puzzle, having recently completed her previous one. The assortment of engaging activities ensures each resident finds something they love, keeping their minds stimulated and spirits high.
After perusing the shops, the group made a heartwarming stop at The Owls Tearoom. Over tea and delicious cake, they enjoyed a peaceful moment, chatting and basking in the fresh air and sunshine. Maddie, the activities assistant, noted, "They both loved looking in the shops and enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine." Her words reflect the genuine care and attention each resident receives at Heath Lodge.
