Horses Bring Joy and Laughter to Woodland Court Residents
At Woodland Court Care Home, a delightful surprise awaited the residents recently when two charming visitors, Frank and Ted, trotted in to brighten their day. The beautiful horses from Church Stables in Bradwell made a short journey to spend time with the community at Woodland Court, located on Guinevere Road in Great Yarmouth.
The residents were overjoyed by the visit, watching in awe and affection as the gentle giants stood patiently in the courtyard. Laughter and joy filled the air as Frank and Ted greeted everyone, eliciting smiles from all. It’s truly amazing how these lovely creatures can lift spirits, spreading joy with their presence.
The horses not only provided companionship but also offered a moment of reminiscence for many residents who fondly remember their own experiences with horses. As a special treat, residents even had the opportunity to feed Frank a carrot, which he graciously accepted.
The staff at Woodland Court ensure such heartening visits are a part of daily life, understanding the profound effect these interactions have on well-being and happiness. With the promise of future visits, Frank and Ted’s escapade was a highlight for all, adding an extra layer of warmth and connection to the home.
