Harbour Manor Celebrates Week of Fitness and Creativity
Residents at Harbour Manor in Felixstowe enjoyed a lively, health-focused week, filled with activities that nurtured both body and mind. The staff at Harbour Manor, located on Bluebell Way, organised a series of engaging keep-fit classes tailored specifically for the interests and abilities of the residents. These sessions provided not only physical exercise but also a joyful atmosphere of camaraderie and community.
In addition to the fitness classes, the residents immersed themselves in a range of recreational activities. Games sparked friendly competition, while playing musical instruments and singing brought a harmonious energy throughout the home. The sound of laughter and music created an uplifting ambiance that was felt by everyone present.
Creativity flourished as residents participated in flower arranging and the decorating of plant pots. This hands-on activity was set in motion with the anticipation of this year’s sunflower competition, encouraging everyone to add personal touches to their pots. The sight of beautifully adorned pots showcased the residents' artistic talents and readiness for this friendly horticultural contest.
The week at Harbour Manor not only focused on physical well-being but also celebrated the artistic spirit and vibrant community among the residents, creating lasting memories for all involved.
