When February started, we announced it was a month of love, care and friendship at Danforth Care Homes. We have been celebrating that theme not only with our staff and residents but also the community. Throughout the month, we've been actively raising funds for the British Heart Foundation, not only through generous donations but also through engaging events such as our delightful afternoon high tea, where all proceeds went towards supporting this vital cause.
In addition to our community activities, we also held an internal competition to design a special symbol: The Danforth Heart. This symbol, lovingly designed by all of our homes, will be placed in all our gardens to commemorate the significance of February at Danforth. It will serve as a meaningful reminder of the love, care, and companionship shared among our residents, staff and their loved ones.
As we look ahead, the Danforth heart will be placed in the garden of every home and will become a cherished space for reflection and remembrance, where residents and staff alike can take a quiet moment to themselves as they fondly remember loved ones and friends.
We're incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support shown by our Danforth family throughout February. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making February such a special and meaningful month at Danforth Care Homes.
