Embracing Spring and Celebrating Milestones at Old Norse Lodge
At Old Norse Lodge, the spirit of rejuvenation and celebration fills the air as residents embrace the arrival of spring and mark special milestones with joy and warmth.
This week, our cherished resident Keith took it upon himself to venture outside and embark on a spring cleaning mission in our courtyard area. With meticulous care and dedication, Keith worked tirelessly to spruce up the outdoor space, ensuring it's ready to welcome the upcoming warmer weather. His efforts have truly transformed the courtyard, turning it into a vibrant and inviting area for residents to enjoy.
Meanwhile, amidst the blossoming of spring, we had the pleasure of celebrating a milestone birthday with our beloved resident Mary, who turned 93 over the weekend. In honour of this special occasion, our talented chef crafted a magnificent chocolate and fruit cake, a delectable masterpiece fit for the celebration. Surrounded by the company of family, friends, and our dedicated staff, Mary's birthday was filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come.
As we witness the courtyard come to life with Keith's hard work and Mary's birthday celebration, we are reminded of the beauty of community and the importance of cherishing every moment. At Old Norse Lodge, each resident is valued and celebrated, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of life within our home.
