In response to a heartfelt request made during a recent residents' meeting, Barton Manor organised a delightful day out to Hammerton Zoo. The excitement was palpable as residents boarded a full coach for the hour-long journey from Wisbech to the zoo near Sawtry.
Upon arrival, the group was warmly greeted by Hammerton Zoo's friendly staff, setting a wonderful tone for the day's adventures. The residents had the unique opportunity to explore much of the zoo privately, allowing them to get up close and personal with the awe-inspiring animals. From the vibrant flamingos to the majestic white lion, every moment was filled with wonder and amazement.
The picturesque weather added to the day's charm, allowing everyone to partake in a refreshing outdoor picnic. Laughter and lively chatter filled the air, creating memories that will surely last a lifetime. The residents, as well as the staff, enjoyed every bit of the outing, appreciating the rare chance to bond outside the familiar walls of Barton Manor.
